Vessel Charter
Portree II
Portree II is classed as a MCA category-3 workboat and can operate up to 60nm offshore. She has undertaken a wide variety of roles from diving support and salvage, cable laying, harbour and mooring maintenance, oil spill response, wreck clearance, civil engineering projects, underwater filming, and marine logistics. Her large clear deck area is an ideal platform for carrying and operating a wide range of plant, machinery and equipment, e.g. dive spreads, swing shovels, cranes, piling rigs, elevators, dredging equipment, oil spill equipment. Her shallow draft and ability to dry out as well as her high degree of manoeuvrability make her the ideal vessel for operating in restricted depths, e.g. shallow coastal areas, estuaries, creeks, small harbours, islands and remote areas in general. These abilities have made her an invaluable tool for cable laying, wreck clearing, marine transport and construction activities in coastal and estuarial waters. To further enhance the versatility of the vessel, a data acquisition and navigation package is fitted interfacing with the vessels DGPS providing an on screen display of the vessels movement to a high degree of accuracy. Combined with the 4-point mooring capability this is a valuable aid for operations such as hydrographic surveys, piling, construction, laying moorings, cable-laying, etc. Portree II is based in Penzance but can be mobilized at short notice within NW Europe.
Jon Buoy
The Jon Buoy provides tidal current profile and heading data for live transmission back to land or ship in extreme tidal locations. Designed to work where traditional buoys cant it provides a live data stream for the assistance of delicate marine operations or simply used as a cost effective alternative to vessel or bottom mounted acoustic profilers. With a large equipment frame it can be custom fitted for many purposes with approximately 3 weeks power supply from its large internal battery bank. For longer durations or higher energy requirements the optional tidal turbine ensures a constant supply of power.

Mojo Maritime has a broad range of experience with many vessels from large offshore construction to small workboats. Below is is small range of some of the vessels chartered by Mojo Maritime.
PaulineFour-legged general purpose self-elevating unit, GustoMSC type SEA-900. Hull reinforced for arrangement of large capacity crawler or pedestal mounted crane. Bull rail for the installation of a cantilever piling frame on SB. Pile test nose at the stern. |
Rambiz
"Scaldis’ largest heavy-lift vessel, the Rambiz, is unique in the world, with her two cranes, shallow draft, large deckspace and renewed large accommodation facilities. This arrangement, together with other qualities, gives the vessel the capability to operate in areas no other comparable vessel can reach. Her ability to work in both deep and very shallow waters provides valuable flexibility. The combination of two main cranes enables the Rambiz to lift unusual structures that would otherwise require two separate vessels." |
