Case Studies

This report was based the Carbon Trust’s requirement for a programme of work to identify the “State of the art in foundation and mooring systems and their applicability to tidal stream systems”.It was produced in two parts, between October and December 2008, and between February and June 2009 as an extension.  The work was done by BMT Fleet Technology, BMT Cordah and Mojo Maritime.

The report covered an overview of; typical tidal stream devices; typical device locations; foundations and mooring requirements and methods.
